A common question we get from crane technicians is how to make a brake adjustment on a Demag DH wire rope hoist equipped with creep motor and microspeed gearbox. Many times, we hear of technicians removing the entire creep motor and gearbox assembly to make the adjustment. This is unnecessary since this configuration was designed to access the brake for adjustment without removal.
