Demag DVR Wire Rope Hoist
The Demag DVR wire rope hoist is flexible and configurable to meet nearly any need in a standard environment, the DVR hoist is a compact, versatile, and high performance solution.
Available in 4 configurations and 5 sizes, the DVR hoist lifts loads from 1 – 80 tons. Its modular design makes it ideal to meet the many standard environments found in manufacturing environments. Choose variable speed or two-speed hoists to meet your unique needs. Add the optional Demag DST pendant for familiar control and use smart features to tailor the hoist to your requirements.
Demag DH Wire Rope Hoist
As your customer’s requirements become more aggressive, the Demag DH wire rope hoist is a solution for non-standard environments and non-standard lifting requirements. The hoist offers long lift, high capacity, and precision not found in standard hoist. An optional load hold brake holds the heaviest loads when needed in applications like aerospace and automotive manufacturing. In aggressive environments, like galvanizing or any environment with high moisture, high chemicals, or high particles, the DH hoist performs. It is comprised of mechanical motors and contact or control, eliminating electrical components that may not survive the environment.

The Demag K motor is a gear motor or AC induction motor and is trusted in extreme and aggressive environments due to its design. Its conical rotor motor design has an integrated, mechanical brake that does not require inverter control, an important factor in aggressive environments with high heat, moisture, particulates, pickling plants, and more. The motors provide smooth acceleration and deceleration mechanically with an additional flywheel. This eliminates wear to the wheel and the crane rails.
Not only is the conical rotor K motor a fit for aggressive environments, but it is also used in the Demag FG Microspeed motor combination for the highest precision. The FG Microspeed delivers very precise positioning and travel with a main and microspeed motor. The dual motors allow for a wide mechanical difference in speeds from very fast to very slow, with the potential for 500-600:1 speed range, depending on your application.
